Workshop on Developmental Speech Sound Disorders with dr. Namasivayam

ECMLogos is organizing a workshop with an outstanding researcher in the field of speech motor control, speech motor acquisition, as well as in the assessment and treatment of developmental speech motor disorders: dr. Aravind Namasivayam from the University of Toronto, Canada. The workshop will be held in Rome, on April 10-11 2026 and will be in English. It will be focused on up-to-date, evidence-based information on the progressive maturation of functional synergies involved in speech production, and on the treatment of Speech Sound Disorders (SSD). As a matter of fact Aravind’s studies are changing the way we conceptualize these disorders, possibly representing a very new page starting from their taxonomy.
